It is freesing outside. All day today, from when I woke up until when I got back home and refused entry to the weather of outside I have been cold. The fire alarm at lunch break didn't go down too well either.

I am using a test version of internet explorer 7 and it's all different and will take some getting used to.

Last night I was waiting on a bus by myself for ages (it was late) and it was freezing too. I had just found my Kings of Leon first album to listen to on my CD walkman - no modern fangled mpthingys for me thanks - and was swinging around to keep warm and couldn't help singing along. When I swung fully around there was an old lady right behind me. I just stopped and pretended I was on a phone call then went and sat away from her.

Been listening to a lot of Billy Connolly a lot lately, I love that guy. He is the funniest guy ever and I really wanna go see him. I think it may kill my sides.

Man, I want those Chuck Taylor Converse Sneakers. But I have no moneys.

Was learning the ins and outs of blue screens today which was pretty cool. Like weathermen (or ladies) or, better still, like Sin City..

And for anyone that thinks any of the people in the Europe trip photos in the last post are me, they are wrong, obviously..

As my friends and I are starting to think about booking our next summer holiday, I thought it would be a good time to start pulling out old Eurotrip photos. Eurotrip is what we christened the train-ing round Europe trip that I went on with Steve, Gav and JV.

Since the pics were on another website before but it's gone now, I thought I'd put them up and display a few..

When we went to Paris we had barely got off the Eiffel Tower when the rain really started to pour, which was kinda lucky.

We did a few very-low-angle shots when we stood next to tall stuff.

We are hostel experts now and we have stayed in some good ones and some that are crazy bad, like Nice. That was horrible. There was a really odd looking dog eating bacon bits off this crazy floor covered with junk (and the dog's pee) and when we came back at nighttime they had turned it into a restaurant!

This was better - it was like an apartment with a living room. It was in Amsterdam but it cost a bit more.

Sometimes we had to bunk up in crazy hotels because we didn't want to sleep in scary parks where some guy was on the loose apparently.

A lot of times we were just hanging around. It seemed like we were always rushing for a train, waiting on a train or, most of all, on another loooong train journey.

This is the guys (I took the picture) just off La Ramblas in Barcelona. We quite liked how this city was like modern with shops and had the beach and stuff too so we went back last year and are about to book another trip there for this year.

If you saw these pics before - yes I did fix them up a bit.

I think all the guys took cameras and I have some of the pictures. I'll put them up in stages, maybe with more posts. It's funny how each persons gallery makes the trip look different..

Anyway, the rest of the good ones I took are: 2004/eurotrip/

Oh I'm so full. Chippy for dinner.

I chose Trainspotting for my film. Wow, that was a weird thing to say. Choose life, choose Trainspotting.. So I will have to watch it about 40 times in the next two months (once every two days-ish).

Myself, Muz, Dave and Bobby (no Mikey because the quizmaster hurt his feelings) went to the fake Hectors quiz last night. We came just 1 point from 1st place! Most of our points were due to the fact we pulled off an amazing semi-impromptu play about a boy that lost his dad and an evil wizard.

The points did not, however, come from me trying to throw a fairy cake across the room into Dave's mouth.

Check out the new stuff on the right. Check ch-check. No new layout yet, nope.

ALSO. We get cake at the quiz, free cake. We actually got two last night and so far we've had three different types. And this is what I sometimes do in editing class..

PLUS. We made friends with the manager/quizmaster as I said and he was gonna put cake on Dave's face but Dave was all 'nah man' and Adam (q-master) was like 'okay' but we were all like 'haha let him do it, he owns the joint'. So he did and there's a video of that too but converting them sucks.

I'm going to redesign this site before the next post and it will link to my new flikr account and be better I think. Probably no frames this time.

I have decided that quizes are great especially when my the guys are all there and we do reasonably well. I think we are now frequenting two a week.

I have to pick a film to analyse for class, the main project for this whole term, but I can't make up my mind and I should have done it already.

I got Kanye tickets for February and am going through with Beki (and Sam and Chris I think) to Glasgow and we're all staying through there and I'm all pumped up and ready to go.

I think Muz was meant to be starting lessons to be in the band today but the guys couldn't find a fully working bass so they went to a museum or something. We have quite a few bass guitars between us but all the working ones have been lent out, or something.

I got screwed out of 290.00 because the student award agency hate me and don't think I deserve to travel, or something.

I have been the illest I've been in ages for the start of the year (and I'm not talking Muz shouting 'this dj is the illest' style - like at Citrus on Saturday). I couldn't get out of bed for the first few days.

I'm better now and it's back to the old course tomorrow. I hate these night before going back nights. I never feel like I'm doing anything good and am just wasting time.

Anyway, I wanted to list the main few things I did last year before getting on with the new one...

* Carried on The Golden Hedges who played with some great bands and got a lot further than any of us expected.. Leaving us to get even better this year. Notably, we gained and lost Jason.

* Met Beki and started going out with her at the end of February.

* Took her to Aviemore where we met up with Lisa and Mikey and Steve too and had a great time.

* Cancelled my acceptance to Stirling University and got stressed then thought up an even better plan. Got myself into Telford to hopefully get into the art school's course (and hopefully skip first year).

Went to Paris with Beki, where we went to Disneyland and did loads of cool stuff..

* Went out with friends loads (mainly Muz, Dave, Mikey, Steve and Bobby).

* Went to Italy to watch Scotland play in Milan.

* Got banned then un-banned from the CI (after a lengthy ban and a 50 min additional ban)... Now they're giving us free food..

* Had a rubbish New Year but it's always that way.

* Left my job at Relish and got a new one working for the government..

* Made a couple of films, wrote a few songs.

Hopefully this year (resolutions?)

+ take more photos.

+ cook even more.

+ get a flat.

+ start a new business.

+ get a new job (once this one runs out).

+ get the band going full speed again..

That's all, folks!
